Browsing and sessions

The site uses a session cookie for form security, submissions and votes. To limit repeated activity, the server uses a keyed hash derived from your IP address. The hosting provider may keep its own operational logs.

Public submissions

Display names, titles and messages are saved for moderation. Approved submissions are visible to the public. Keep contact details, test results and other personal health information out of your posts.

If you allow translation, approved post text may be sent to the translation service configured for this site. Clear the checkbox before submitting if you want to opt out.

External providers

Links to services and tests lead to third-party websites with their own privacy policies. Read the provider’s policy before sharing personal details, sending a sample or ordering a test.
